If your detail general ledger report is too large and cumbersome, you can minimize the detail in your report by doing the following:
Run the detail general ledger report:
- Modify the Report
- Click on the Filters Tab
- Under Filters, scroll down to Detail level
- Click the radio button for Summary Only
- Click OK
